MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA / RankWire.AI / – Meta has launched Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, its most sophisticated artificial intelligence models to date. These new systems are tailored for tasks such as coding, managing long-duration AI agents, and handling intricate personal or professional responsibilities. According to Meta, these models can assist users with navigating insurance claims, understanding lease agreements, analyzing financial data, and creating functional applications. Muse Wonder became accessible on October 12 via the Meta Model API and Muse Code, while Muse Wonder Full was released exclusively to Muse Code subscribers.

This launch marks an expansion of Meta’s focus on AI systems capable of executing multi-step tasks, moving beyond simple prompt responses. Muse Wonder can organize longer projects, assign sub-tasks to smaller agents, employ software tools, and recover from errors during execution. Meta also designed these models for enhanced computer use across browsers, desktop software, and mobile apps. Both models are equipped with a context window of approximately one million tokens, enabling them to process extensive information within a single session.
To facilitate more extensive and customized interactions, Meta introduced two features named Active Memory and Active Focus. Active Memory ensures that pertinent information is retained across conversations and retrieved when relevant to a new task. Active Focus allows the models to continue working despite difficulties, test alternative approaches, and recover from mistakes. Meta also states that the models can seek clarification from users and verify details before executing critical actions.
Models Designed for Coding and Persistent AI Tasks
The cost for Muse Wonder is $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens via the Meta Model API. Cached input data is priced at $0.20 per million tokens, as detailed in the company’s developer documentation. Muse Wonder Full is available only through paid Muse Code subscription plans, not through separate API pricing. For developers with more intensive coding needs, Meta offers Power Usage at $50 a month and Maximum Usage at $200 a month.
Meta reports that Muse Wonder Full outperforms other models on several agentic and coding benchmarks, with results published alongside the launch. The evaluation includes tests like DeepSWE and SWE-Marathon, which assess software engineering and long-duration coding capabilities. Independent reviewer Artificial Analysis assigned Muse Wonder an Intelligence Index score of 52, while Muse Wonder Full received a score of 56 at maximum reasoning effort. These scores position the models above Meta’s earlier Muse Spark generation on the evaluator’s index.
Enhanced Safety Features Complement Advanced Capabilities
Meta has trained the Muse Wonder series to avoid sharing private information without explicit permission and to decline requests involving harmful activities. The models also retain cybersecurity features that help developers identify vulnerabilities in their code and bolster security defenses. The company states that these models are evaluated under the Meta Superintelligence Scaling Framework. Additionally, Meta plans to publish a comprehensive report covering further safety assessments following the initial rollout.
Approximately 14 months before launching Muse Wonder, Meta began a broad overhaul of its AI initiatives. The new models are built upon the foundation established with Muse Spark, with training conducted at Meta’s Prometheus data center. The company intends to integrate Muse Wonder into more features within its Muse platform, starting with its subscribers. The October release provides immediate access for developers to Muse Wonder, reserving the larger Muse Wonder Full model for Muse Code subscribers.
